To ensure no Muslim is left without access to sacred knowledge and community. Therefore creating a legacy which serves all Muslims for the foreseeable future, strengthening the Ummah of The Prophet ﷺ for generations to come. All for the sake of Allah Most High!
Our Founder & Director
After graduating from Manchester University with a BA (Hons) in Politics and Economics, Sheikh Muhammed Zaqir studied for 8 years in Damascus (Syria) at the Prestigious Abu Noor Institute. He studied several classical disciplines of Islamic knowledge at the hands of some of the most prominent holders of the tradition. Thereafter, he studied in the illuminated city of Tarim, Hadramaut.
There he studied at the eminent Institute Dar ul Mustafa, under the qualified hands of some of the most illustrious guides of knowledge. Being classically trained in the sacred sciences, he has attained formal ijazahs in various Islamic Disciplines including Tafsir, Hadith, Kalam and many others. His study includes the Shafi’i and Hanbalis schools of Law. His specialisation being in the Hanafi School having attained iftaa in the Hanafi Madhab.
Despite his extensive knowledge in these areas, his specialism is in the sciences of Islamic Theology. Having founded Darul Arqam Trust and humanitarian aid charity – Revive, Shaykh Zaqir is also the founder of many other grass-root community initiatives. The Road to Healing
Darul Arqam Educational Trust has been successful in providing a much-needed service. Enabling Muslims to have easy access to learn about their religion in a fruitful and interactive manner. By offering such avenues of education the Trust also seeks to provide the Muslim community with social, cultural and educational activities to create a sense of identity, moral responsibility, self reliance, community spirit and to empower alienated groups to play a meaningful part in a multicultural society.
Darul Arqam Trust provides accessible e-learning platforms, enabling a wider audience to benefit from the lights of the Divine Revelation and the Prophetic Guidance. In addition to serving the educational needs we offer the global Ummah guidance as believers; as a minority in a secular context – hoping to fuse the best from the Islamic civilisation and the Western civilisation using an Islamic scholarly approach.
The Prophet ﷺ said: “Mankind has not spent in charity anything better than the spreading of knowledge.”
For ultimately, Allah (Glorious is He) has manifested us upon this earth for the betterment of the creation, in guiding mankind to His worship. The Prophet ﷺ has said: “All of you are from the slaves of Allah and the most beloved of you to Allah are the ones who are the most beneficial to His slaves.”

Darul Arqam Educational Trust has a UK campus in which we teach courses workshops to a large audience/alumni from around the UK.
